I passed the EPPP first time without seminars or CDs

I passed the EPPP last year (2010) first time without taking seminars or using CDs. I used the single volume of written study materials from Psych Prep and their on-line tests. Because I feel this experience was so unneccessarily traumatic and to pass along some of my study tips to others, I have prepared a 20-page packet of tips and actual pages from notebooks I created for myself as a way to pass it the first time. That was my goal setting out and I actually did it. The thing with the study programs (including Psych Prep) is that you have to do more than just follow their guidelines. I worked full time during this ordeal and had limited free time in which to actually study. I believe the way I went about creating my own study materials, notes, "maps" and "flashcards" could be helpful to others and I will gladly share this information. I think those of you who are preparing for the EPPP and trying to figure out a way to hold all this "data" in your head will find it helpful. The packet I prepared is divided into 3 sections: General Tips, Approaching the EPPP Study Materials, and Taking the EPPP. If you or anyone else is ever interested in putting up copies of their own notes, study tips or anything else that isn't protected by a copyright you don't own I would gladly make them available for free on the EPPPstudyguides.com website. If you wanted to put up a free sample such as the "general tips" with an advertisement for the rest I think that would be fine too.
